"Mason Creek Middle School is proud to name Felicia Thomas as our Teacher of the Year," said Principal Dr. Tiffany Boyle. "She was chosen by her peers and will be an excellent representative of them and our school. Ms. Thomas always goes above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of her students."

Ms. Thomas has been a middle school teacher for 19 years and is beginning her second year at Mason Creek. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education in 2001. In 2003, she completed her Master’s degree from Troy State University and in 2005 earned a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. She is a current doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University.

Ms. Thomas is certified in Middle Grades Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, and Educational Administration and Supervision.  She currently teaches seventh grade mathematics.
